Locks up often

This app locks up often and stops responding to gestures. I am not sure what others are raving about because on my iPhone 5s running iOS 9.2.1 this app simply does not work when you need it most.

When it works, search is painful. There is no history of recently played albums or songs and the app is constantly freezing while it is scanning your music library.
