Still works great with iOS 10 so dont worry about the last release date. This app has great big artwork on my iPhone without covering it up with buttons or cropping it off. It just looks beautiful when sitting in my dock on my desk with whats currently playing!

Love the swipe methods and everything about this app!

You cant select the song you want. If you want to play a specific song, it will stubbornly play the WRONG song. Its fine for shuffling but thats it.

Please update for iOS 10!

Love this app for my car. Anyway we can get Spotify premium download support? Like use this app to play music from Spotify, not just from iTunes music. Been keeping up with this app for years & love every minute of it.

This app hasnt been updated in a long time and the developer appears to have lost interest. Gestures do not work consistently. iOS 10.1.1 displays warnings that the app might cause slowdowns. For now the app still works, but its on borrowed time. Buyer beware. Thats a real shame, because it would rate 5 stars easily if it simply worked as intended. Its the perfect balance of features and simplicity. Its beautifully designed, and ideal for the car. If the developer is reading this, please update this app! I would pay for the upgrade. Nothing else is even close.

No support, no updates in years, obvious issues with iOS9 and 6+/6S+.

Very smooth

Even after reading glowing reviews here, I find this app to be a real dog in my experience. Unable at times to turn off the music without sliding into the fast app screen. Even though I’m using the latest OS, and not happy with the new music app from Apple, even that revision is better than this Car Tunes app for easy access to music. All the focus seems to be on buying new music instead of enjoying what’s already owned.

Finally an app that does it all for you and it all makes sense. Good job. Killing it

Especially now that it is redesigned. The new iTunes is more complicated than it needs to be. This app is simple and works, easy to get used to the navigation in app, it is fast and thought for car use. Podcasts also show up in the app! 5/5

I was close to giving up on the iPhone native music player. Then took a chance and used cartunes. No more random "repeats" issue, no more lame stock artist images and really improved audio quality. Not sure how its being done. So Im stayin with the iPhone for now. My previous player was an iRiver ihp40. I use Grado sr80 headphones and Beats earbuds.

Its been too long without an update. Optimize it for iPhone 6 and 6 plus Add genres tab Add ability to slide the playing bar, to skip a part of a song quick, just like the real Apple Music app Keep up please

I love this app its very user friendly

Car tunes still needs some fine tuning done. After playing the first track, if I jump to play another track it starts the first track all over again. You also need a progress bar on the playlist and an indicator showing what track is being played.

My opportunity to say how much the native Apple music app suuuuux. It used to just fine until the last few updates where it has become unnavigable. This app however is fantastic!

I got this a long time ago when it was offered on sale or something, never really used it because I could navigate the IOS Music app easy enough. That is no longer the case. As a long time PDA user, ’99-present, I’ve always found that native apps were more reliable and often more usable. Dropping that philosophy thanks to Music app, it tries to do too much. CarTunes does just enough. If you’re listening to music on the road there’s no need for tiny fonts or multi-level settings to access, it’s too distracting. Cartoons can play podcasts also. Great app!

I have loved using this app for years now, especially since the apple music update! However Ive had issues with the current version. Rarely does it play the song I select. Instead it will usually just play the first song in the playlist or track list. It doesnt happen when I first open the app but it does if a song is already "now playing" Please fix!

Ive been using CarTunes for a couple of years and have been pleased thus far. I particularly like that I can play my music and podcasts through the app, eliminating the need for apple music apps . Before my latest update to iOS (8.4.1) I was able to fast forward/rewind by 15secs in the standby screen. The update changed this option. The standby interface now appears to be integrated with the apple music app. Please update soon...
